Hetauda E-rickshaw drivers have started an agitation demanding the government to open license for them. District Traffic Police Office and District Police Office of Makwanpur have been strictly checking the e-rickshaw driver’s license in recent days. As a part of the e-rickshaw driver's agitation demanding license, different associations of e-rickshaw drivers have formed a 16 member struggle committee on Wednesday. Issuing a press release the struggle committee has demanded immediate release of all e-rickshaws taken into control by the traffic during checking, opening of license for e-rickshaw drivers, and long term solution into the problem by holding an all-party meeting among others.
