Police arrested 43-year-old Nanku Yadav of Bela-6 Khardariya on October 26 on the charges of attempted to rape a 20-year-old woman. The complaint against the accused was lodged at Area Police Office of Gadhawa on December 8, 2011, by the victim’s party. Since then the accused absconded according to the police. He was arrested by the police after four years from his house in Dang district and was handed over to the District Court according to SP Dhiraj Pratap Singh. The victim underwent a health checkup at the Primary Health Center of Lamahi on December 9, 2011. The District Court of Dang had given a verdict to sentence him for two years and six months on June 19, 2012, after finding him guilty.
