Police on Tuesday arrested a man on the alleged charge of killing his own beloved. Metropolitan Crime Division (MPCD), Teku nabbed Mukti Lamichhane alias Resham for ‘killing’ his beloved Elisha Nepali from Bode, Bhaktapur today. According to the MPCD, Reshan, Elisha’s lover, murdered Elilsha in cold blood in his Bode-based house on October 26. The body was found in a sack on November 5. According to SP Prakashjang Karki, Resham asked for ransom of Rs 15 million using Elisha’s mobile after murder in Hindi language. Karki further shared that Resham and Elisha’s father had gone to the MCD, Teku seeking help to search Elisha. According to the MPCD, the main reason behind murdering Elisha is the revenge that Resham wanted to take after he was jilted by her. Resham and Elisha had become friends in Budhanilkantha seven months ago. -------------------------------------------- A dead body of a woman was recovered at Madyapur Thimi Municipality-2 on November 6. The body was decayed according to DSP Shyam Babu Oliya of Metropolitan police circle. Police said that the woman is about 27 years old. She sustained a deep cut on her head and her body was put inside a sack. The nature of the body showed that she might have been murdered, police said. Police could not identify the identity of body of the victim however the investigation has been initiated according to DSP Oliya. Sabina KC
