According to Police Superintendent, Narendra Prasad Upreti, investigation on the case has already started. 16-year-old, Punam Shah, who was studying in grade 11 at Pheta Higher Secondary School died a suspicious death on Sunday, November 6. Police arrested the deceased's father, Shah, after he was found cremating the body without reporting the death to the police. Police have presented Shah before the court on Tuesday to extend his remand through a court order for further investigation.
