A young girl in Sukhaanagar of Butwal has been injured after being beaten by her step-mom. The step-mother Radha Ghimire allegedly beat her 16-year-old step-daughter Jamuna Ghimire. Jamuna who was injured due to the beating is being treated at Lumbini Zonal Hospital. Although the victim stated that she often used to be beaten by her step-mom, the step-mom however denied that she had beat the girl. She said that she accidentally hit the girl in the cheek while trying to defend herself. She said that Jamuna came to fight with her when she was advised to come home early. Jamuna is studying in class eight. Her father is abroad on foreign employment. बुटवलको सुखानगरमा सौतेनी आमाको कुटाइबाट एक छोरी घाइते भएकी छन् । सौतेनी आमा राधा घिमिरेको कुटाइबाट जेठितर्फकी १६ वर्षिय जमुना घिमिरे घाइते भएकी हुन् । घाइते भएकी जमुनाको लुम्बिनी अञ्चल अस्पातलमा उपक्षर भइरहेको छ । पिडीत जमुनाले ३, ४ पटक यसैगरी आमाले कुटपिट गर्ने गरेको बताइन् । जमुना कक्षा ८ मा पढछिन् । कुटपिट गर्ने राधा घिमिरे जमुनाकि कान्छी आमा हुन् । घर ढिला आएकाले सम्झाइ बुझाइ गर्दा हात पात गरेपछी आफुले प्रतिरक्षा गर्दा गालामा लागेको राधाले बताइन् । जमुनाका बुवा रोजगारीका लागि विदेश गएका छन् ।
