Relatives of a woman who allegedly died due to the beating of her neighbors staged a sit-in before the District Police Office Kailali on Tuesday citing that the police did not take any action against the accused even after 7 days had passed since the incident. On Monday, November 14, Yasodha Devi Bhatt of Matyari-6, Dhangadhi was beaten by her neighbors Bhojraj Pandey and Ganesh Pandey which led to her death. She died while being taken to Nepalgunj for treatment. The brother of the deceased claimed that the perpetrators gave her poison after beating her. Likewise, the husband of the deceased said that police did not conduct any inquiries even after registering the case. The chief of District Police Office, Dilip Singh Bhandari said that due to various reason there has been some delay regarding the investigation of the case. He further said that he has taken a statement from the accused and would soon reveal further details into the incident. धनगढी, ७ मंसिर - दोषीलाई कारवाहीका लागि प्रक्रिया अगाडी नबढाएको भन्दै मृतका आफन्तहरुले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय धनगढी घेराउ गरेका छन् । घटना भएको ७ दिन बितिसक्दा समेत सत्यतथ्य कुरा बाहिर ल्याउन नसकेको भन्दै दबाब स्वरुप मृतका आफन्तहरुले जिप्रका घेराउ गरेका हुन् । गत सोमबार छिमेकीको कुटपिटबाट धनगढीको मटयारी वडा न. ६ की यसोदा देवी भाटको मृत्यु भएको थियो । उनको सेती अञ्चल अस्पतालमा उपचार हुन नसकेपछि नेपालगंज लैजादै गर्दा बाटो नै मृत्यु भएको थियो । विहान ४ बजे तिर आरोपित भोजराज पाण्डे र गणेश पाण्डेले कुटपिट गरी विष सेवन गराएको मृतकका भाई भिम बहादुर ऎरको आरोप छ । मुद्धा दर्ता गरेको भएपनि घटना बारे कुनै सोधीखोजी नै नगरिएकाले न्यायका लागि आएको मृतकका श्रीमान शेर बहादुर भाटले बताए । 'आफु घर नभएको समयमा २/३ जना मिलेर श्रीमतीको हत्या गरेको प्रमाण हुदा हुदैपनि दोषीलाई कारवाही गर्न नसकेको छैन । 'उनले भने - 'छोरा छोरीहरु आमालाई कुटपिट गरेको बताइरहेका छन् ।' आफन्तहरुले दिएको दबाबका कारण बल्ल प्रहरीले मुद्धा अगाडी बढाउन लागेको मृतकका दाई रामचन्द्र क्षेत्रीले बताए । विभिन्न कारणले गर्दा मुद्धाको छानविन गर्न केही ढिलाई भएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका निमित्त प्रमुख दिलिपसिंह भण्डारीले बताए । उनले आरोपित दुई जनाहरुसंग बयान लिइसकेको र चाडै सत्यतथ्य बाहिर ल्याउन जानकारी दिए ।
