A rape attempt was reportedly made upon a 14-year-old teen from Holiya VDC in Banke on Friday. According to a report a local youth allegedly tried to rape the girl by forcibly taking her to nearby field. The girl however, escaped from the clutches of the perpetrator. She has sustained injuries on her eyes and other parts of her body while struggling with the perpetrator. The victim's family has lamented the failure of the Holiya Police to catch the accused who is on the run. बाँके होलिया गाविसमा शुक्रबार एक बालिका माथि बलत्कार प्रयास भएको खुलेको छ । एक १४ वर्षिया बालिका खेतमा काम गर्न गएका बेला स्थानिय युवकले जबर्जस्ती अरहर बारीमा लागि करणी गर्न खोजेको पीडितको आरोप छ । युवकको नियन्त्रणबाट भाग्न सफल भएकी बालिकाको आँखा र शरीरका अन्य भागमा गम्भिर चोट लागेको छ । आँखा अस्पातल नेपालगन्जमा औषधी उपक्षर गराउन आएको समयमा घटना खुलेको हो । होलिया प्रहरीले अभियुक्त पक्राउ गर्न नसकेको पीडितहरुको भनाइ छ । बाँकेका प्रहरी प्रमुख एसपी तेक प्रशाद राइले," युवक फरार भएर भारतीय क्षेत्रमा गएकोले पक्राउ हुन नसकेको हो । " बताए ।
