Ambulance drivers in Butuwal have protested against the vandalism on ambulance during the demonstration in Butwal by halting ambulance service for an hour from 12:00pm to 1pm. Demonstrators had vandalized an ambulance bearing plate number Lu1Cha 2131 at Dipnagar during the second day of protest against the statute amendment proposal while the ambulance was carrying patient from Bhairahawa Airport. 'Despite, informing the protesters that the ambulance was carrying patient, they attacked the ambulance', said ambulance's driver Gyan Bahadur Bhattachan. बुटवलमा प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले विरामी बोकेको एम्बुलेन्स तोडफोड गरेर क्षति पुर्‍याएको विरोधमा एम्बुलेन्स चालकहरू विरोधमा उत्रेका छन् । १२ बजेदेखि १ बजेसम्म एम्बुलेन्स चालकहरूले १ घण्टा सेवा बन्द गरेका हुन् । विरामी बोकेर आउने क्रममा भएको तोडफोडको विरोधमा साङ्केतिक रूपमा विरोध गरिएको एम्बुलेन्स सञ्चालन समितिका अध्यक्ष यदुनाथ भण्डारीले बताए । बन्दको दोस्रो दिन साँझ दिपनगरका बिरामी भैरहवा एयरपोर्टबाट बुटवलतर्फ ल्याउँदै गर्दा बुटवलको राजमार्ग चौराहामा लु १ च २१३१ नं को एम्बुलेन्समाथि प्रदर्शनकारीहरूले तोडफोड गरेका थिए । एम्बुलेन्स चालक ज्ञानबहादुर भट्टचनले ‘गाडीमा बिरामी छ भन्दा भन्दै कसैले केही नगर भने कोहीले ठोकठोक’ भनेर सिसा फुटाइदिएको बताए । गाडी केही कुच्चिएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय बुटवलका डिएसपी मुकुन्द मरासिनीले बताए ।
