The district court of Dang has sentenced 60-year-old Bishnu Prashad Kandel of Shantinagar-2 to 6 months in prison after finding him guilty in a rape intent charge. Kandel had reportedly attempted to rape a 15-year-old girl on September 19. Police had arrested him on the same day for investigation. A bench of district court justice Komal Prashad Acharya issued the verdict on December 21. The court has also ordered the convict to pay rupees five thousand fine to the court and pay a compensation of rupees twenty thousand to the victim. १५ वर्षीया बालिकालाई आशयकरणी गरेको कसुरमा दोषी ठहर गर्दै दाङ जिल्ला अदालतले शान्तिनगर-२ एकलीका ६० वर्षीय विष्णुप्रसाद कँडेललाई ६ महिना कैदको फैसला गरेको छ । न्यायाधीश कोमलप्रसाद आचार्यको इजलासले पुस ६ गते कँडेललाई ६ महिना कैद, ५ हजार रुपियाँ जरिबाना र पीडितलाई २० हजार रुपियाँ क्षतिपूर्ति उपलव्ध गराउन फैसला गरेको हो । पीडित बालिकालाई आरोपितले गत भदौ १९ गते आशयकरणी गरेको आरोपमा सोही दिन नै प्रहरीले आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरेको थियो । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण स्वास्थ्य चौकी चिराघाटमा सोही दिन गरिएको थियो ।
