Police have arrested 18 years old Arjun Tharu of Tilottama-22 from Tilotama-10, Mangalpur on charge of raping 14 year old girl after marrying her. The accused eloped with victim on December 15 and raped her. A complaint against the accused was lodged by the parents of the victim on December 20. DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey of District Police office said, the accused has been arrested for investigation on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim’s family. The victim underwent a health checkup at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa on December 21 according to police. १४ वर्षीया बालिकालाई विवाह गरी बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा रुपन्देही प्रहरीले तिलोत्तमा नपा-२२ का १८ वर्षीय अर्जुन थारुलाई पुस ६ गते तिलोत्तमा नपा-१० मङ्गलापुरबाट गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित बालिकालाई गत मङ्सिर ३० गते भगाएर विवाह गरी बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा पीडित बालिकाका अभिभावले पुस ५ गते प्रहरीमा उजुरी दिएका थिए । पीडित पक्षको उजुरीका आधारमा आरोपितलाई अनुसन्धानका लागि गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका डिएसपी बेलहादुर पाण्डेले बताए । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण भिम अस्पताल भैरहवामा पुस ६ गते नै गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
