Police have arrested Shree Ram Chaudhary of Lalmatiya-Basantapur on the charge of beating his wife to death. Shree Ram reportedly beat his wife, 50-year old Laihiya Chaudhary on December 26, seriously injuring her. Laihiya later succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Butwal Chauraha Hospital. Police are further investigating on the incident. कुटपिट गरी श्रीमती मारेको अभियोगमा लालमटिया–१ बसन्तपुर बस्ने श्रीराम चौधरीलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । चौधरीले पुस ११ गते ५० बर्षीया श्रीमती लैहिया चौधरीलाई घरायसी बिवादमा कुटपिट गर्दा गम्भिर घाइते भएकोले उपचारको लागि बुटवल चौराहा अस्पताल पठाइएकोमा आइतबार उपचारको क्रममा मृत्यु भएको थियो । यस सम्बन्धमा प्रहरीले आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
