Resident of Nawalparasi Dumkibas VDC 2 Suntadi, 39-years-old Urmila Sunar's family has demanded for a fair investigation claiming her death to be a murder. Urmila was found dead in Dumkibas in her own house in a suspicious condition on 11 February. Her husband's family stated that she had taken poison while her maternal family side claimed that she has been murdered. Urmila's elder sister Bhagwati Sunar said that Urmila had often complained of being beaten, tortured and threatened by her husband. Bhagwati said that Urmila's husband used to threaten to kill her, give divorce and torture her. She also stated that there were marks behind her neck, ear and body while she was found dead. Area police Office's Sub Inspector Prakash Singkhada said that the primary report showed poison in-taking as the cause of death. He also stated that the body has been sent to Kathmandu for further investigation and it would take one and half month for the postmortem's report to arrive. According to him, investigation is carried out on the basis of FIR registered by Urmila's maternal family. नवलपरासीको दुम्किवास गाविस २ सुनटाडी निवासी ३९ वर्षकी उर्मिला सुनारको हत्या परिवारले गरेको भन्दै पत्रकार सम्मेलन मार्फत निष्पक्ष छानविन गर्न माइती पक्षले माग गरेका छन् । उर्मिला शनिबार दुम्किवासस्थित आफ्नै घरमा शंकास्पद रुपमा मृत भेटिएकी थिइन् । उर्मिलाको घर पक्षले उनले विष सेवन गरेर आत्महत्या गरेको बताएका छन् । तर माइती पक्षले भने उनले आत्महत्या गरेको नभइ उनका श्रीमानले हत्या गरेको आरोप लगाएका छन् । उर्मिलाकी दिदी भागवती सुनारले बहिनीले पटक पटक श्रीमानले यातना दिने, कुटपिट गर्ने, मार्छु भन्ने, छोडपत्र दिन्छु भन्ने गरेको बताउने गरेकोले यातना दिएर हत्या गरेको बताइन् । बहिनीको घाँटीमा पनि डाम, कान पछाडि पनि काटेको डाम, कान पछाडि पनि काटेको डाम रहेको उनको भनाइ छ । ईलाका प्रहरी कार्यालयका प्रहरी नायव निरिक्षक प्रकाश सिँखडाले विष सेवानका कारण मृत्‍यु भएको प्रारम्भिक रिपोर्ट आएको र थापा अनुसन्धानका लागि काठमाण्डौं पठाइएकाले पोष्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आउन एक डेढ महिना लाग्ने बताए । माइती पक्षले जाहेरी दिएकाले घटनाका बारेमा घरपरिवारसँग सोधपुछ गर्ने काम भैरहेको उनले बताए ।
