Representatives of local political parties have padlocked the municipal office of Gaushala Municipality for an indefinite period stating that they have destroyed the previous structure and made a new one. Multi-party meeting that took place at Gaushala on Tuesday stated that they will padlock the office for an indefinite period to condemn the new structure. There are 12 VDCs in total after the addition of 4 new VDCs and they have demanded to change this decision and include previous VDCs and to establish total VDCs of around 12-19 VDCs in an inclusive way. They have even submitted a memorandum at the Local Development Ministry about the same. महोत्तरीको गौशाला नगरपालिकाको वडा बिभाजन गर्दा पुरानो संरचनालाई तोडमोड गरि नयाँ संरचना बनाएको भन्दै स्थानीय राजनीतिक दलका प्रतिनिधिले अनिश्चितकालका लागि कार्यालयमा तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । मंगलबार गौसालामा स्थानीय राजनीतिक दलको सर्बदलिय बैठकले नयाँ संरचनाको स्वागत गर्ने र कायम गरिएको वडाको बिरोध गर्ने निर्णय गर्दै अनिश्चितकालिन तालाबन्दी गर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो । नेपाल सरकार स्थानीय पुनर्संरचना आयोगद्वारा घोषित गौशाला नगरपालिकाको वडाहरुलाई भत्काई हाल ४ गाबिसहरु समेत थप गरि १२ वडा बनाइएकाले सो निर्णयलाई परिमार्जन गरि गौशाला नगरपालिकाका पुराना वडाहरुलाई कायम गरि थप गरिएको ४ वटा गाविसहरुलाई समाबेसी /समानुपातिक तरिकाले १२ देखि १९ वडासम्म कायम गर्रिनुपर्ने माग गरेका छन् । यस्तै बैठकले सो सम्बन्धमा संघिय मामिला तथा स्थानीय बिकाश मन्त्रालयमा ज्ञापन पत्र बुझाउने निर्णय समेत गरेको छ ।
