. Agitation is growing in different VDCs of Dhanusha such as Raghunathpur, Khariyani and Begadawar saying that the local level restructuring was done without any scientific study. According to Deep Narayan Das, Coordinator of Save Raghunathpur Struggle Committee and leader of Maoist Centre, different demonstration activities were conducted in Raghunathpur since last two weeks. They reached the decision to picket DDC office as their voice was unheard during general strike, baton rally, whistle rally, jharu rally and warning rally. Nepali Congress, CPN UML, Maiost Centre, RPP Nepal, Sadbhwana Party, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Raghunathpur Business Association, Raghunathpur Youth Club, Raghunathpur Civil Society, Local Peace Committee, Professional Group and Ward Citizen Forum collectively releasing a press release padlocked Raghunathpur DDC office. They claimed to continue the padlocking until Raghunathpur retain the Village Council Status. According to Local level Restructuring Technical Assistance Committee Dhanusha Focal Person, Sunil Kumar Jha, application has been lodged against the switching of VDCs such as Begadawar, Hansapur Kadputla, Balabakhar and Dubarbot. Apart from this, Raghunathpur, Khariyani and other places have been agitated. Locals of Begadawar have been agitated when wards 3, 6 and 7 under Mithila municipality previously are merged to Bateswor Village Council at present. Agitated locals padlocked Mithila municipality on Thursday. स्थानीय तहको पुर्नसंरचना हचुवाको भरमा गरिएको भन्दै धनुषाको रघुनाथपुर, खरिहानी, बेंगाडाबरलगायत स्थानमा आन्दोलन चर्किएको छ । रघुनाथपुरमा पछिल्लो १४ दिनदेखि निरन्तर विरोधका विभिन्न कार्यक्रम गर्दैै आएको रघुनाथपुर बचाउ संघर्ष समितिका संयोजक एवं माओवादी केन्दका नेता दिपनारायण दासले जानकारी दिए । गाउँमा आम हड्ताल, लाठी जुलुस, सिट्ठी जुलुस, झारु जुलुस र खबरदारी जुलुस प्रदर्शन गरिएपनि सुनुवाइ नभएपछि उनीहरुले जिविस घेराउ गर्ने निर्णयमा पुगेका छन् । नेपाली काँग्रेस, नेकपा एमाले, माओवादी केन्द, राप्रपा नेपाल, सदभावना पार्टी, संघीय समाजवादी फोरम नेपाल, रघुनाथपुर व्यापार संघ, रघुनाथपुर युवा समूह, रघुनाथपुर नागरिक समाज, स्थानीय शान्ति समिति, पेशागत समूह र वडा नागरिक मञ्चले सामुहिक रुपमा विज्ञप्ती जारी गर्दै साविकको रघुनाथपुर जिविस कार्यालयमा तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । रघुनाथपुरलाई गाउँपालिका कायम नगरेसम्म ताला खोल्न नदिने र स्थानीय तहको हैसियतमा रघुनाथपुरबाट कुनै किसिमको प्रशासनिक कार्य गर्न नदिने उनीहरुको अडान छ । स्थानीय तह पुर्नसंरचनाको विरोधमा बेगाडाबर, हंसपुर कठपुत्ला, बालाबाखर र दुबर बोटबाट हेरफेरको विरोधमा निवेदन दर्ता भएको स्थानीय तह पुर्नसंरचना प्राविधिक सहयोग समिति धनुषाका फोकल पर्सन सुनिल कुमार झाले जानकारी दिए । यी बाहेक रघुनाथपुर , खरिहानीहगायत अन्य क्षेत्रमा आन्दोलन भइरहेको छ ।
