Youths have staged demonstrated demanding an end towards all kinds of women violence. Youth Advocacy Nepal (YAN) organized the demonstration in Maitighar Mandala chanting slogans such as 'protect public places', youths should step up' etc. The demonstration led by Youth Advocacy Nepal(YAN), staged a demonstration for 30 minutes in front of Mandala. YAN have been organizing campaigns with the motive of ending all kinds of injustice faced by women. Naren Khatiwada, president of YAN also stated that separate law should be made and formulated to protect women rights. महिलामाथि हुने सबै प्रकारका विभेद र हिंसा अन्त्य गर्नुपर्ने माग गर्दै युवाले सडकमा प्रदर्शन गरेका छन् । युथ एड्भोकेसी नेपाल (यान) ले माइतीघर मण्डलामा आयोजना गरेको प्रदर्शनीमा सहभागी युवाले ‘महिलाहरू सडकमा जिस्काइ माग्न हिँडेका होइनन्’, ‘सार्वजनिक स्थल सुरक्षित गरौँ’ र ‘युवाले सडक दुव्र्यवहार रोक्न सक्छन्’ लगायतका प्ले कार्ड बोकेका थिए । युवाले दिउँसो करिब ३० मिनेट प्रदर्शन गरेका हुन् । यानले महिलामाथि हुने सबै प्रकारका विभेद अन्त्यका लागि देशव्यापी अभियान सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको छ । सोही अवसरमा यानका अध्यक्ष नरेन खतिवडाले भएका ऐन÷कानुनको कार्यान्वयनसँगै महिलामाथि सडकमा हुने दुव्र्यवहारसम्बन्धी छुट्टै कानुन निर्माण गर्नुपर्ने बताए । अभियानकर्मी विकास केसीले खासगरी सडकमा महिलामाथि हुने हिंसा अन्त्यका लागि युवा नै सक्रिय हुनुपर्ने धारणा राखे ।
