Sajhedari Forest users of Kapilbastu district have padlocked and organized a sit-in in District Forest Office, Kapilbastu on April 10 for not meeting their demands. The forest users had earlier submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister's office protesting the decision of keeping the Sajhedari forest under the works and duties of Ward. The Sajhedari forest users are demanding to keep Sajhedari Forest under the Provincial functions. The protesting forest users conducted a rally from the ground of Buddhapadam school to District Forest Office followed by a sit-in and padlocking in the office. The padlocking was done as a symbolic form of protest in the forest office and the padlock was opened shortly by Nepal police and employees of forest office. आफ्ना माग सम्बोधन नगरिएको भन्दै जिल्लाका साझेदारी वनका उपभोक्ताले जिल्ला वन कार्यालय कपिलवस्तुमा धर्ना दिई तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । गत चैत २८ गते साझेदारी वनलाई वडाको काम कर्तव्य र अधिकार अन्तर्गत राखिएको विरोधमा साझेदारी वन व्यवस्थापनको कार्य प्रदेशको सुचिमा गर्न गराउन माग गर्दै प्रजिअ मार्फत प्रधानमन्त्रीलाई ज्ञापन पठाएको भए पनि माग सुनुवाई नाभेपछि साझेदारी वनका उपभोक्ताले आन्दोलित बनेका हुन् । आन्दोलित उपभोक्ताले बुद्धपदम उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालयको चौरदेखि जिल्ला वन कार्यालय सम्म र्‍यालीको आयोजना गरि वन कार्यालय कपिलवस्तुमा धर्ना दिई तालाबन्दी गरिएको छ । टोलीले सांकेतिक विरोध स्वोरुप लगाएको ताला प्रहरी र वन कर्मचारीले केहि समय पश्चातनै खोलेको थियो ।
