Police have arrested a 24-year-old man from Dhorchaur rural municipality on the charge of raping a 20-year-old woman who also happens to be his aunt in relation. The woman is a tenant at the accused's house. The accused reportedly raped the woman on July 18 when she was alone at her room. The victim underwent medical examination at District hospital Salyan on July 22. Police arrested the accused on the basis of oral complaint filed by her at temporary police post Dhorchaur on July 21. Police registered a formal complaint at District Police Office on July 23. Police are further investigating on the incident, informed DSP Shyam Khatri of DPO सल्यानको ढोरचौर गाउँपालिकाका एक वडा सदस्य हाड नाता करणीको आरोपमा पक्राउ परेका छन् । काकी नाता पर्ने २० वर्षकी महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले २४ वर्षका उनलाई पक्रेको हो । अरोपितको घरमा डेरा गरेर बस्दै आएको र साउन ३ गते राती घरमा कोही नभएको बेलामा बलात्कार गरेको पीडितले बताएकी छन् । पीडितको साउन ७ गते जिल्ला अस्पताल सल्यानमा स्वास्थ्य परिक्षण गरिएको थियो । उनले साउन ६ गते अस्थायी प्रहरी पोष्ट ढोरचौरमा दिएको मौखिक उजुरीको आधारमा आरोपितलाई त्यही दिन गिरफ्तार गरिएको हो । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सल्यानमा मुद्दा साउन ८ गते लिखित रुपमा दर्ता भएको हो । आरोपित वैशाख ३१ गते सम्पन्न स्थानीय तह पहिलो चरणको चुनावमा माओवादी केन्द्रबाट निर्वाचित वडा सदस्य हुन् । घटनाको थप अनुसन्धान भैरहेको डिएसपि श्याम खत्रीले जानकारी दिनु भएको छ ।
