Police refused to register a complaint lodged by 21-year-old woman in Biratnagar-8 accusing her brother-in-law of raping her. The accused is an employee in Nepal Police and allegedly raped the woman on June 11 when his wife was off to her parent's place. She also said that she was kept locked at her own home by other family members for three days after being raped. She also said that her husband doesn't take care of her because of his extra marital affair. Meanwhile, DSP Yogendra Singh Thapa said that he suggested not to lodge complain as there lacks evidence and exist a situation of lady being re-victimized. नातामा जठाजुबाट बिराटनगर ८ की २१ वर्षीय एक महिला बलात्कारमा परेको भन्दै प्रहरीमा जाँदा जाहेरी दर्ता नगरेपछि न्यायको लागि पत्रकार सम्मेलन मार्फत अपिल गरेकी हुन् । नेपाल प्रहरीमा कार्यरत यादवकी श्रीमती माइत गएको मौका छोपी गत २८ जेठमा बलात्कृत भएको उनले बताइन । साँझ जेठाजुले बलात्कार गरेपछि परिवारका अन्य सदस्यले तीन दिनसम्म घरमा थुनेर राखेको ती महिलाको गुनासो छ । विवाह भएको केही दिनयतादेखि श्रीमान अर्कै महिलासँग लागेर आफू लाई हेला गर्ने गरेको उनको आरोप छ । यता जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय मोरङ्गका प्रहरी नायव उपरीक्षक प्रवक्ता डिएसपी योगेन्दसिंह थापाले अवस्थाको प्रमाण पुष्टि नभएको र उल्टै पीडित झन पीडित हुने अवस्था सिर्जना हुने भएकाले सर्वोत्तम हितलाई ख्याल गर्दै जाहेरी दर्ता नगर्न सुझाव दिएको बताए ।
