The Office of Janakpur sub-metropolitan city has been shut down indefinitely from Sunday protesting against manhandling on the Executive Officer of the office. An agitated youth had thrashed Arjun Prashad Subedi, Executive Officer accusing him being reluctant to concerns over the ruined state of the road by Prabhu Shah, Minister for Urban Development during field visit. Local people have been adversely affected as Employee Union of sub metropolitan put their pen down demanding action against the accused involved in mishandling of the Executive Officer. जनकपुर उपमहानगरपालिकाका प्रमुखमाथि भएको हातपातको विरोध गर्दै आईतबार कार्यालयको कामकाज ठप्प पारिएको छ । कर्मचारीहरुले दोषिमाथि कारवाहीको माग गर्दै कामकाज ठप्प पारेपछि सेवाग्राहीहरु मारमा परेका छन् । शहरी विकास मन्त्री प्रभु शास आएका दिन जनकपुरको सडकको दुरावस्थाको विषयमा ध्यानाकर्षण गर्दा कार्यकारी अधिकृत अर्जुन प्रसाद सुवेदीले नटेरेको भन्दै स्थानीय आक्रोशित युवाले हातपात गरेका थिए । सोही विषयलाई लिएर दोषिमाथि कारवाहीको माग गर्दै उपमहानगरपालिका कर्मचारी युनियनले अनिश्चितकालका लागि कामकाज ठप्प पारेका छन् ।
