Police have arrested 25-year-old Sanjaya Harijan of Bardaghat Municipality-3, Lagunaha on August 28 on charge of raping a 20-year-old woman. The victim’s party had lodged a complaint at police office against the accused complaining that he had raped the woman six months ago and she is pregnant. The victim’s party has demanded for the compensation and action against the accused. The accused have been arrested by the police based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s party according to SI Tika Ram Pokhrel of DPO. २० वर्षीया युवतीलाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले बर्दघाट नपा-३ लगुनहाका २५ वर्षीय सञ्जय हरिजनलाई भदौ ११ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित युवतीलाई आरोपितले ६ महिना पहिला बलात्कार गरेको र गर्भसमेत रहेको भन्दै पीडितको उचित व्यवस्थापन साथै क्षतिपूर्तिको माग र आरोपितलाई कारबाहीको माग गर्दै भदौ ११ गते प्रहरीमा उजुरी दिइएको थियो । पीडित पक्षको उजुरीका आधारमा आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका सई टिकाराम पोख्रेलले जानकारी दिए ।
