35-year-old Bijaya Mahato, a resident of Lahan municipality-3, has been arrested on November 15 in accusation of taking 13, 15 and 16-year-old girls to India with the motive of trafficking. According to the relatives of the girls, Mahato took the girls on his bike to bus stand at 10 pm on November 12 and one of the girls' brother saw them while waiting for a bus to India. When the girl's brother requested them to return home, the accused and his friends started beating him. Police saw this incident and rescued the girls. १३, १५ र १६ वर्षीया बालिकाहरूलाई बेचबिखन गर्न भारत लैजाँदै गरेको आरोपमा लहान नपा-३ का ३५ वर्षीय विजय महतोलाई इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय लहानले कात्तिक २९ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित पक्षका अनुसार आरोपितले बालिकाहरूलाई भारतको दिल्लीमा रोजगारी लगाइदिने भनी फकाएर कात्तिक २६ गते राति १० बजे मोटरसाइकलमा राखी लहान-१ स्थित बसस्टैण्डमा लगी भारत लैजान गाडी पखर्दैँ गर्दा एक बालिकाका दाइले देखेका थिए । उनीहरूलाई घर फर्कन आग्रह गर्दा आरोपितसहित उनका साथीहरूले पीडित बालिकाका दाइलाई कुटपिट गरिरहेको देखेर गस्तिमा रहेको प्रहरीले उद्धार गरी घर पठाएको थियो । बालिकाहरूलाई ललाईफकाई बेच्न लगेको आरोपमा पीडित परिवारले आरोपितविरूद्ध इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय लहानमा कात्तिक २८ गते उजुरी दिएको थियो ।
