Ward Chairperson of Bheri municipality-7 has been attacked by a group of youths affiliated to Youth Association Nepal (CPN-UML) on Saturday evening. Dipendra Shahi, District Chairperson of Youth Association Nepal, and his team attacked the ward chairperson and his son. Shahi and his son have been severely injured in the incident. They have sustained injuries on the head and face. The injured have been sent to Kohalpur Medical College after first aid. According to police, Chairperson Shahi was attacked after contract was not awarded to Dipendra Shahi. The accused is on the run and search is on-going. भेरीनगरपालिका ७ का वडाध्यक्ष चन्द्रबहादुर शाहीमाथि सांघातिक हमला भएको छ । एमाले निकट युवा संघ नेपालका जिल्ला अध्यक्ष दिपेन्द्र शाही ९एनवी० को टोलीले शाहीमाथि शनिबार साँझ आक्रमण गरी घाइते बनाएको जिल्ला प्रहरी प्रमुख भावेश रिमालले बताए । कुटपिटबाट शाही र उनका छोरा गम्भीर घाइते भएका छन् । उनीहरुको टाउको र अनुहारमा चोट लागेको छ । घाइतलाई प्राथमिक उपचारपछि कोहलपुर मेडिकल कलेज पठाइएको रिमालले जानकारी दिए । ठेक्काको विषयमा केही दिनअघि विवाद भएको थियो । आफूलाई ठेक्का नदिएको भन्दै अध्यक्ष शाहीमाथि आक्रमण भएको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ । घटनापछि दिपेन्द्र फरार छन् । उनको खोजी भइरहेको प्रहरीको भनाइ छ ।
