As many as four persons were critically injured after a clash erupted at Sammewa bazar in Chaubise Rural Municipality, Dhankuta on Sunday night. Police said Ganesh Budhathoki, Nabin Rai, Shreehang Limbu and Agam Rai of the rural municipality were injured. They were being treated at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health and Sciences. According to District Police Office, Dhankuta, the incident occurred after men under the influence of alcohol misbehaved with women in the bazaar. चौबिसे गाउँपालिका वडा नम्बर ८ साम्मेवा बजारमा आईतबार भएको झगडामा घाईतेहरुले आँखा गुमाएका छन्। सौर्य बजारबाट फर्कदै गरेका मौनाबुधुकका युवाहरु र साम्मेवा बजारबासीबीच भएको झडपमा परेर घाईते भएका चार जनाले आँखा र दाँत गुमाएको जानकारी जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय धनकुटाले दिएको छ । महिलालाई जिस्काएको विषयमा भएको गालीगलौजपछि भएको झगडाको प्रतिकार गर्दा चार जनाले आँखा गुमाएको जानकारी चौबिसे गाउँपालिका वडा नम्बर ८ का वडाध्यक्ष धनबहादुर लिम्बुले दिए । ‘झगडाको प्रतिकार गर्दा आँखाको नानी गुमाएका छन् । त्यसबाहेक दुई जनाको दाँत भाँचिएको छ,’उनले भने ।
