Police officer Purna Bahadur Chalaune has been arrested for attempting rape on a 15-year-old girl. He was working in Birendranagar. According to the police, he assured the girl that he will drop her home on 28th December. After that, he took her to the jungle and attempted to rape her. He was arrested from Birendranagar after the relatives of the girl lodged a complaintat District Police Office on Friday. Police is investigating further about the case. बालिका बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको आरोपमा एक प्रहरी जवान पक्राउ परेका छन्। जंगलमा लगेर १५ बर्षीया बालिकालाई बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको आरोपमा गण मुकाम वीरेन्द्रनगरमा कार्यरत प्रहरी जवान पूर्णबहादुर चलाउने पक्राउ परेका हुन्। जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका अनुसार बिहिबार बेलुका घर पुर्याउने भन्दै प्रहरी जवान चलाउनेले बालिकालाइ नेपाली सेनाको कपासे ब्यारेक नजिकैको जंगलमा पुर्याएर बलात्कार प्रयास गरेका थिए। उनलाई वीरेन्द्रनगरबाट पक्राउ गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। बालिकाका आफन्तले शुक्रबार जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको भन्दै जाहेरी दिएका छन्। प्रहरी यसबारे थप अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ।
