Police have arrested 30 years old Pheru Tharu of Butwal Sub-metropolis-18 on January 5 on charge of polygamy. The accused was also charged of beating his wife and breaking her hand before absconding. He married with second woman Srijana Chaudhary,25 on January 3 and complaint was lodged by the victim at Area Police Office of Butwal on January 6. Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, both the accused were arrested by the police for the investigation according to DSP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai. बहुविवाह गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले बुटवल उपमहानगरपालिका-१८ का ३० वर्षीय फेरु थारुलाई पुस २१ गते राति मोतिपुरबाट गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । आरोपित थारुकी ३० वर्षीया पत्नी कमला परियार थारुले कात्तिक १० गते राति आफूलाई कुटपिट गरी हात भाँचिदिएर फरार रहेको र पुस १८ गते गाउँकै २५ वर्षीया श्रृजना चौधरीलाई विवाह गरेर हिँडेको भनी पुस २२ गते इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय बुटवलमा उजुरी दिएकी थिइन् । पीडित महिलाको उजुरीका आधारमा प्रहरीले पुस २१ गते राति आरोपितद्वयलाई मोतिपुरको चौराहाबाट गिरफ्तार गरी कारबाही अगाडि बढाइएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालयका डिएसपी पवनकुमार भट्टराईले बताए ।
