Locals have staged sit-in-protest in front of the office of District Public Health Office after there was a shortage in medicine and doctors in Area Health Posts at Dandaphaya, Simkot Rural Municipality-7 since last 2 weeks. Local Chakka Singh complained District Public Health Office of being negligent on such a serious issue. He said that locals are compelled to return empty handed after neither doctors nor medicine are available in the health post. The health post is locked since 2 weeks, local said. The Area Health Post was operated since 8 years by only one ANM Pushpa Shahi and locals are demanding to bring her back. DPH dr Ramjit Kumar Yadav committed to solve the issue. सिमकोट गाउँपालिका-७ स्थित डाँडाफया इलाका स्वास्थ्य चौकीमा दुई हप्तादेखि औषधि र डक्टरको अभाव भएको भन्दै माघ १९ गते जिल्ला जनस्वास्थ्य कार्यालयमा स्थानीय धर्नामा बसेका छन । सो इलाका स्वास्थ्य चौकीमा विगत आठ वर्षदेखि आम नेपाल संस्थाद्वारा सञ्चालित अनमी पुष्पा शाही कार्यारत भएको भए पनि सो संस्था फेज आउट भएको दुई हप्ता भइसक्दासम्म पनि जिल्ला जनस्वास्थ्य कार्यालयले ध्यान नदिएको स्थानीयबासी छक्की सिंहले बताइन् । उनले भनिन्-‘माघ ९ गते देखिनै इलाका स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा सामान्य सिटामोल र उपचार गर्ने डक्टर नभएकाले दैनिक स्थानीयबासी रित्तो हात लिएर घर र्फकन बाध्य भएका छन् ।’ डक्टरको अभावमा सो इलाका स्वास्थ्य चौकी तालाबन्द गरिएको स्थानीयबासी विनोद बिकले बताए । स्थानट्यले विगत आठ वर्षदेखि नियमित सेवा दिँदै आएकी एक मात्र अनमी पुष्पा शाहीलाई सोही स्वास्थ्यचौकीमा नै राख्नुपर्छ भन्दै जिल्ला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालयको ध्यान आर्कषण गराएका हुन् । जिल्ला जनस्वास्थ्य कार्यालयका प्रमुख डक्टर रञ्जितकुमार यादवका अनुसार सो इलाका स्वास्थ्य चौकीमा एक जनाको दरबन्दी खाली रहेको छ । सो सिटमा अनमी पुष्पा शाही र तत्कालै औषधि पठाउने उनले प्रतिबद्धता जनाएका छन ।
