Locals of Dhankuta 4,5,6 and 7 picketed the office of Dhankuta Drinking Water and Sanitation Consumers Committee accusing the committee of supplying drinking water irregularly. They also accused that the water supplied by the committee was undrinkable. Residents of Dhankuta ward number 4,5 and 7 picketed at the office on June 6 demanding clean and drinkable water. According to the committee's Chairperson, they were unable to supply water regularly as the water pump was broken and water pipeline in Dhankuta was damaged due to road expansion. लेदोपानी खुवाएको विरोधमा धनकुटावासिले मंगलबार खानेपानी तथा सरसफाई उपभोक्ता समितिको कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन्। महिनौदेखि धमिलो पानि खुवाएको विरोधमा धकुता-४,५,६,र ७ का उपभोक्ताहरुले कार्यालय घेराउ गर्दै नारावाजी गरेका हुन् ।सयौँको संख्यामा उपस्थित उपभोक्ताले धमिलो पनि आएको विषयमा पटक-पटक जानकारी गराउँदा पनि बेवास्ता गरेको आरोप लगाए ।खानेपानी उपभोक्ता समितिका अद्यक्ष द्रोणप्रसाद गुरागाईंले पनि तान्ने पम्प बिग्रिएको कारण नियमित पनि नआएको र मोटर बाटो खन्ने क्रममा डोजरले खानेपानीको पाइपलाइन बिगारेकाले धमिलो पनि आएको बताए ।
