From June 8 to June 12, the students, as well as the teachers, were on strike. They even went to the home of area chief Muni Sah and Ward Chief Rakesh Roshan Gupta to seek for help. After the discussion held between the teachers, ward chief, and area chief, Principal Parmeshwar Raya was forced to resign from the post. They have demanded scholarship provision to the students, formation of the science lab, computer lab, etc. Ex-Principal Bishwo Nath Mahato said that after Raya was selected for the post of Principal, all these problems started.
