Two rape cases which took place on September 11 have been revealed in the district. The two separate incidents of raping girl children took place at Birta of Garuda Municipality-8 and Gamhariya of Gadhimai Municipality. The accused of both cases have been arrested. While the locals have lauded the police for catching the culprits, they are terrified of the increasing violence against women. "We are too worried by the rising violence against women," said civil society activist Bijay Kishor Jha.
