Police have arrested 32 years old Birkha Bahadur Thapa of Bheriganga Municipality-13 on September 24 on charge of raping 30 years old woman. The complaint against the accused was lodged at District Police Office of Kaski on September 24 on charge of rape on June 12. According to DSP Rabindra Man Gurung of DPO, it was revealed that the accused has been sexually exploiting the victim from the last one year. He was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim. DSP Gurung said that the accused is also convicted of theft. On September 24, the victim underwent a health checkup according to the police. ३० वर्षीया महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले सुर्खेत जिल्ला भेरिगङ्गा नपा-१३ का ३२ वर्षीय बिर्खबहादुर थापालाई असोज ८ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले जेठ २९ गते बलात्कार गरेको भन्दै पीडितले असोज ८ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय, कास्कीमा उजुरी दिएकी थिइन् । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय, कास्कीका डिएसपी रविन्द्रमान गुरुङले थापाले विगत एक वर्षदेखि यसरी नै युवतीहरूलाई यौन शोषण गर्दै आएको जानकारी र पीडितको उजुरीको आधारमा गिरफ्तार गरी घटनाबारे अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको बताए । डिएसपी गुरुङले आरोपितविरूद्ध चोरीको उजुरी पनि रहेको जानकारी दिए । पीडित महिलाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण असोज ८ गते पोखरा स्वास्थ विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठानमा गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
