Engineering students of Purwanchal University started a death-onto hunger strike on September 9 accussing the management of financial motivation behind finalizing examination centers. 6 out of 60 students of Central Engineering College,Janakpur who came to Biratnagar started the hunger.The students said that the University had finalized wrong place as center for their 2nd semester examination. Their demands include relocation of exam center, action against the Examination Chief and re-taking exams missed during the protest. परिक्षा केन्द्र आर्थिक चलखेलका आधारमा तोकिएको बताउँदै पूर्वान्चल विश्वविद्यालय अन्तर्गतको सेन्ट्रल इन्जिनियरिंग कलेज जनकपुरका ६ जना विद्यार्थीले केन्द्रीय कार्यालय विराटनगरमा समुहिक आमरण अनशन सुरु गरेका छन् । आन्दोलनका लागि जनकपुरबाट आएका ६० विद्यार्थीहरुमध्ये ६ जना विद्यार्थीले आइतबारबाट विश्वविद्यालयको कार्यालय अगाडी सामुहिक आमरण अनशन सुरु गरेका हुन् ।पूर्वान्चल विश्वविद्यालय अन्तर्गतको मोडल कलेज जनकपुरमा चारवर्षे इन्जीनीयरिंग अध्ययन गर्दै आएका विद्यार्थीहरु दोस्रो सेमेस्टर परिक्षा गलत स्थानमा तोकिएको भन्दै आन्दोलनमा उत्रिएका हुन् ।२६ गतेबाट परिक्षा बहिष्कार गर्दै आन्दोलन गरिरहेका विद्यार्थीहरु परिक्षा केन्द्र सारिनुपर्ने,केंद्राद्यक्षलाई कारवाही गरिनुपर्ने,छुटेको परिक्षा दिनपाउनुपर्ने माग गर्दै अनशन बसेका हुन् ।
