Krantidwaar:Teachers padlock Katahariya municipality demanding pending salary

150 teachers of 24 public schools at Katahariya padlocked the Municipal office on October 9 demanding salary that was pending since 4 months. According to the teachers, the municipality is yet to give them Rs.1 crore 50 lakhs to the teachers as salary. However, The Executive Officer of the municipality,Uday Devkota, said that the the payable amount was not issued as the municipality was yet to do audit of the finances.
