17-year-old Ishwari Choudhary of Godavari Municipality-1 Banshari, was seriously injured after being attacked by a group of 7 unidentified men.
According to the victim, Chaudhary, the group of men beat her unconscious on on November 12 at around 10 am in the morning and left her by the roadside drain. She was returning home from school early after she felt unwell at the time o the incident. When she later gained conscious at around 4:00pm in the evening she found herself lying at the drain covered by a plastic.
The victim is undergoing treatment at Padma hospital in Attariya. Doctor Nara Bahadur Mauni, said that her condition is serious as she sustained injury on her stomach, chest, and head in the attack.
According to Inspector Kisan Chand District Police Office, the victim's father Jitam Chaudhary filed a complaint against the attackers at Area Police Office, Attariya on the same day.
