A 22-year-old Basanti Sunar from Bhagawati rural municipality has got beaten by her husband on 31st of January demanding money for the upbringing of their children.
The victim party said that accused Bharat BK who has returned to Nepal a few weeks ago from Qatar and is staying at the headquarters in rent along his two sons aged 4 and 3 for their better future have beaten Basanti demanding all the spent money from her maternal home. Bharat bought 2 lakh and 80,000 cash from his saving from Qatar from which 1 lakh 35,000 has been used for rent and food, he asked to cover that spent money by her maternal home. He also asked for the remaining money that would be 1 lakh 45,000. In case if she let anyone about the incident she was told that she will be banished from the home, she added.
