Police have arrested 27-year-old Syangbu Sherpa from Attharai rural municipality on a charge of raping a 25-year-old woman.  The victim woman lodged the complained at the area police office on 3rd of February stating that she was raped by accused Sherpa on 31st of January. She went under medical examination on the same day of complained lodged.

Police have also charged him under the rape and murder case as he also assaulted the victim when she was defending herself.

Police are further investigating the case.
