Three students were injured in a clash with police at Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara Metropolis-9.
The clash started after the police attempted to open the padlocked medical college which was padlocked since two weeks. During the clash 23 years old Prem Dev Joshi, 19 years old Apil Bhandari and 22 years old Rabina Mishra were injured.
All of them are receiving treatment at Gandaki Medical College. They sustained chest and hand injuries. One of the victim Rabina said that a huge number of police were deployed to control them and accused that some of the policemen even sexually abused them.
DSP Kumod Shah of ward police office of Baidam said that minor force was applied to control the mass. He said that they were injured in stampede.
The hospital is given security by patrolling and armed police force.
