Police have arrested 29 years old husband Bhawani Singh Rumdali on charge of beating 27 years old Nirmala Rai of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-1. He was arrested on March 11.

The locals had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office on march 10 after he thrashed his wife and made her unconscious. The victim was rescued by locals and took to the community hospital in Okhaldhunga.

The victim is undergoing treatment according to the police.
