A pregnant woman was killed in Tokha-8, by her husband's first wife on Sunday night. 26-year-old Bishnumaya Malla of Soru rural municipality in Mugu killed 23-year-old Sita Malla Shahi with the help of other relatives. The victim was 6 months pregnant.

Police also arrested the primary suspect along with her sister Bhagwati Malla, nephew Gandip raj  Malla and his girlfriend Rita KC on charge of murder. According to SSP Dhiraj Pratap Singh, head of metropolitan crime research, detailed investigation will be started. According to the sources, Mr. Dharmaraj Shahi,husband of the victim is in Mughu. He is coming to Kathmandu on receiving information about the incident. They rented a place in Tokha.

It is revealed that they murdered her in the revenge of second marriage with her husband.
