Lumbini Poultry Farmers' Association staged a protest rally in Butwal on Wednesday demanding ban on the sale of chiken's weighing over 1800 grams as. The WHO has declared that chicken weighing more than 1800 grams are harmful for human health but the Government has still not been able to impose ban on the sale of such chicken.
The protesters also submitted a memorandum to Shree Krishna Nepal Vice-Secretary of Provine-5 Ministry of Land Reform, Agriculture and Cooperatives. Receiving memorandum Vice-Secretary Nepal said that government was sensitive about their demand.
