Bhawan Budachetri, 27 of Melamchi Municipality-3, Haibung has lodged application of domestic violence at INSEC district representative office on April 12 against her father-in-law Ram Bahadur Ghale and brother-in-law Gyanendra Ghale. She complained that she was being tortured and abused by both victims based on caste.

The victim was married 12 years ago by her husband Rabindra Ghale when he was an army man. The victim said that she was tortured by her family of being from the lower cast however she was not. She was expelled and was displaced at her paternal house.

INSEC district representative Nati Babu Dhital said that INSEC will initiate to lodge complaint against the accused at District Police Office.
