A complaint has been lodged against the father on a charge of attempting rape. A 14-year-old girl from Belbari municipality of Morang district has lodged a complained against her father after her younger sister committed suicide. 

According to the police, 10-year-old was found hanging on her own house on Sunday. Police have arrested their stepfather on the basis of a complaint filed by his  14-year-old girl daughter.

A 14--year-old daughter has claimed that her sister committed suicide because of mental torture given by their stepfather. On the 14th of April, he tried to rape me but I was able to escape from the scene. I even share this to my other family member but they did not do anything in thinking of being shamed, the girl said.  Police are further investigating the case.
