There was a scuffle between Ward Chairperson Hiralal Mahato of Bateshwor rural municipality ward no. 3 and Raj Kishor Mahato, a leader of Federal Socialist Forum. According to Rural Municipality Chairperson Dambar Bahadur Raut, who witnessed the incident, shared that there was a dispute about aid budget of 50 lakh rupees sent to the rural municipality from the provincial government. Forum Leader Mahato thinks that temple should be constructed with the budget.
According to the rural municipality chairperson, the ward chairperson slapped the forum leader and after that, the forum leader attacked the ward chair with a brick. The ward chair has injury in his hand and also on his leg.
Raj Kishor Mahato, on the other hand, says that the rural municipality chairperson and ward chairperson collectively beat him after making hurtful remarks.
