Police have arrested a 16-year-old teenager on  got arrested on Sunday on the charge of raping a 12-year-old minor girl. Police arrested the teenager on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's family at Area Police Office Bhimad on May 20 against him stating that he raped the minor girl on May 19.

Sub-inspector of Area Police Office Bhimad said that police are further investigating on the incident.

The victim also underwent medical examination at Damauli hospital on May 20 said the police.
