On Sunday, demanding for the wages, workers staged a demonstration in front of sub-metropolitan office. They pointed that they haven't got their salary since four months and are facing inconvenience due to that. They said that they won't return to work unless sub-metropolitan provides them their salary and make them permanent workers.

At 11 o'clock Mayor Lal Kishor Sah made a commitment to provide their salary by the mid of May. Despite Mayor's commitment, workers continued their demonstration.  

Workers' leader Kusheshwor Mesthar said even in the past Mayor had made such commitment so this time, the workers continued their demonstration. He also informed that on Monday, on the occasion of 'Janaki Nawami', a fair is going to be conducted, keeping that on mind, they have decided to resume their demonstration from Monday morning after working on Sunday evening.
