Police arrests one on the charge of marital rape

Police on June 6 arrested a 31-year-old man residing in Lalitpur metropolitan city on the charge of raping his 27-year-old wife.
Police arrested him on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim at Metropolitan police circle Jawalakhel on May 17, saying that the accused raped her on April 23, informed DSP Narayan Prasad Chimoriya.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Patan hospital on May 17.
