A man arrested for raping a teenager

A 16-year-old girl has been raped in Biratnagar on false promises of marriage. According to the police, 25-year-old Dibiya Poddar aka Bibek of Biratnagar Municipality-12 raped the teenager by taking her to his room. Police said that arrested Poddar is a married man.
According to DSP Ghanshyam Shrestna of District Police Office Morang, Poddar used the rape the victim from Biratnagar-14 by taking her to his room. Poddar last raped her on April 23. Police have started investigation by arresting Poddar. According to Shrestha, he was presented before Morang District Court on Sunday.
