Police, on 12th June, arrested 23-year-old Binayak Basnet, a teacher of Kids Brights Boarding School, of Gorahi Municipality-16 on the charge of sexually abusing 12 and 13-year-old girls. According to SP Bel Bahadur Pandey, police arrested him on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's side at District Police Office. In the complaint, the victim's side stated that the accused sexually abused the girls on June 12.

The victim underwent a medical examination at Rapti Heath and Science Academy on 12th June.
