Locals of different municipalities in Sarlahi picketed in front of DAO citing that both the provincial and federal parliament had set very low amount for their land which were acquired by the government for electrical railway project. The farmers picketed  in front of DAO Sarlahi as the federal government has planned to construct railway track through land pooling system.

Farmers from Lalbandi, Hariwan and Bagmati municipality came to district headquarter Malangawa to participate in the picketing program.  The goverment had planned to give 1 million rupees to Kathha of land while the farmers are demanding up to  2.5 million rupees per Kathha. Chief District officer Drona Pokharel said he is consulting with the upper level administration to solve the dispute.
