Locals of Bishnupur rural municipality's Laxmipur chowk blocked road on Saturday protesting air pollution. According to Jaleshwor Yadav, chairperson of Bishnupur Rural Municipality, a 7-day notice was issued to Amba Builders Company which was contracted with the construction of 1,800 meters long road from Laxmipur-to-Thalha after it failed to construct the road within the contracted period. He also warned of action against the company.

Locals of the area led by Mahendra Yadav of Ward 4, obstructed transportation along the road from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm citing that their health was affected due to dust and smoke coming from the poor road condition.
