Police arrested 35-year-old Bijaya Raj Sejuwa, a permanent resident of Pachaljharana Rural Municipality in Kalikot currently residing at Biratnagar Municipality-3, on July 4, on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. 

The victim filed a complaint on July 3 stating that the accused raped her on July 1. According to DSP Pradip Bahadur Chhetri of District Police Office, Surkhet, police arrested the accused from Biratnagar on the basis of the complaint. 

The victim's medical examination was done at Provincial Hospital on July 3.
